To celebrate reading month we will be doing many fun reading activities at school. To continue the fun and to celebrate at home your child will be bring home a new special reading calendar today. Instead of recording minutes each night, there is a special activity for each day. These activities can be completed in any order and you many even do them more than once! The goal is to read in a variety of different ways and to many different listeners. There are also a few special days at school to look for. Directions for filling in the calendar are located at the top of the page. Below you will also find a few useful links for the month. Please refer back to this blog post throughout the month for these links. I will put at tab at the top of the page titled READING MONTH for quick access.
