Staff Variety Show

Today the kids at Hemlock Creek were treated to a special show by the teachers. They earned this show by collecting enough Phantoms slips. It was a great time and the kids really enjoyed it! Below is a video with clips of each act. :)

Book Talks

Three kiddos from our classroom got to do a book talk with our library media specialist Mrs. Gossen in the month of February. They shared a book that they like with all of the 1st graders here at Hemlock Creek. The book talk was filmed in our green screen room.

Dental Health Presentation

This week the 1st grader here at Hemlock Creek got to hear all about dental health from the Dental Associates. They discussed the importance of brushing twice a day, brushing for 2 minutes, brushing in circles, flossing, and more! The kids also got to take home a goodie bag with lost of dental treats. Reading Group - Reader's Theater

Today one reading group practiced reading a reader's theater. The story was called The Snowstorm- The Play. The characters were a penguin, a seal, a polar bear, and a narrator (Ms. Decker). After making hats and practicing the kids presented to their classmates. They did a great job!

Technology Night
