Heritage Hill Field Trip

Last week on Thursday we had our first field trip. We visit Heritage Hill's Belgian Farm. On the farm the kids explored and learned about life on a Belgian farm long ago. They learned about immigration, a summer kitchen, and farming. They got to grind corn into corn flour and learned also to make their own butter. This field trip ties in perfectly with our social studies unit on the past and present that we started this week. Below are some pictures that Mrs. Krug took of this great experience. :)
